Option 4 - raise money by walking with us:

To try and raise 35% of our target we are encouraging people to come out and walk with us on given days. All applicants and those wishing to join us need to fill in the registration form, because we have to inform the police of our numbers.

There is an online sponsorship form together with a pledge sheet you can fill in detailing when you’d like to participate. We will throw in a T-shirt and Baseball cap and the rest is up to you. We're particularly looking to target people whose lives have been affected by MS ie a close relative or friend who has it , and who want to walk and make a difference. We are hoping that each walker who joins us, will be able to raise a minimum of £250. For example if we get 10 people on each walk day to try and raise £250 each that would equate to over £70,000 over the course of the 5 weeks. Only you can help by joining us and making this dream a reality!

To get the show on the road we need to cover a number of logistical costs, these include accommodation and food. To support us we will be using a 12 berth tour bus, as depicted, which will become our home for 5 weeks. The bus will be on the road throughout the event and will act as an information centre on our rest days. The opportunity for a major sponsor to join “On a Mission” and become an integral part of this ground breaking event are open to discussion.

All major sponsors getting involved would have their logos included on all merchandise and livery including the “Battle Bus” as depicted. It is anticipated the walk will reach over 18 million people who live in the areas that we pass through. An intensive PR campaign will target all areas of the media to reinforce our mission statement and to gain maximum coverage for the walk.

We are also in discussions with a number of TV production companies about the possibilities of producing a documentary of the walk, to be broadcast in the Autumn. The event offers excellent opportunities for any sponsor to not only raise their profile but get involved in a project offering hope for thousands of people.
